It should be used as prescribed by the doctor and regularly for maximum benefit. Avoid using more than necessary as it will not clear the condition faster and may increase side effects. Skin infections usually improve within 2 to 4 weeks of treatment, so do not use the cream longer than recommended. Keep the affected area clean and dry, wash hands before and after treatment, and if you have athlete’s foot, wash socks and change shoes daily.
